It’s no secret! Here at Houseplant Addicts, we love plants! We love connecting with our members, fans, and followers! We also love our readers! Being stuck at home, many are working from home. Parents are now teaching or guiding their kids through distance learning. We share low maintenance plants to add to your workspace!

I was a stay at home mom and blogger before Coronavirus hit. We’ve had to adapt to schools being closed, learning at home, distance learning, and juggling our schedule! Our dining table and kitchen counter has turned into our school desk, work desk, and office storage area!
With so much going on, houseplants are a great way to bring peace and calm into your home. Whether you have a green thumb, black thumb, or you’re too busy to care for plants, we found two plants that are perfect for any household! You can even enlist the kids to help water them!
ZZ Plant

I was first introduced to the ZZ Plant soon after I moved into my own home. The ZZ Plant is the perfect low maintenance plant for literally any lifestyle! If you are brand new to plants, this is a great plant to start with. Not only do they help clean your indoor air, they are unique looking, and help bring brighten any spot in your home.
ZZ Plants can sit on your desk or anywhere in your space. Do you have a dark area of your home? ZZ Plants do well with low light too!
Hoya Kerrii Variegated

I learned about the Hoya Sweetheart Plant from our Houseplant Addicts Network! I saw people sharing their pictures. Of course the unique heart shaped plant caught my eye. I’ve never had hoyas, so I was curious if I could keep it alive.
When I saw the Hoya Sweetheart Variegated Succulent (Hoya Kerrii), I knew I had to have it! How cute is it?
The Hoya Sweetheart Variegated Succulent is cute, compact, and makes a great plant for your desk!
They say it makes a great gift for Valentine’s Day, which I agree with. Would you gift this to a friend or family member? Or keep it for yourself?

Both the ZZ Plant and the Hoya Sweetheart Variegated Succulent do not require much attention. In fact, they like to be ignored! I have to remind myself not to water either of them like I do with my tropical plants.
Do you have either plant? Tell us which plants you have added to your home office!
