1-What was your first plant?

One of the first plants I can remember getting is a cactus. I still have him sitting on my window still in my room, and it actually formed itself into the shape of a heart. I hope to have it for many years to come.

2-How have plants/ plant care changed your life for the better?

Caring for plants has definitely made me appreciate the little things in life. Like seeing a new leaf from your favorite plant finally unfurl, or seeing little blooms emerging on your plants, and watching a teeny tiny plant grow into such a strong and healthy one. It’s a really good feeling seeing something you’ve nurtured thrive under your care.

3-What is your favourite plant?

My favorite plant is my Rhaphidophora Tetrasperma. It shows me so much love. It continues to put out a new leaf or two every single week and I still get excited to see them as much as I did when I first got it home. It’s very easy to grow and rewarding plant for any level of houseplant nut.

4-What’s your favourite plant tip?

Let your plants dry out. They will love you for it. And don’t skimp out on the fertilizer, plants need food just like humans do! And never stop asking questions; the houseplant addicts page, google, and local garden center staff are your best friends when it comes to learning about your plants care. We are here to help!

5-If you had any plant to give to a special person, which would you choose? Why?

Either a clipping of my rhaphidophora tetrasperma or a string of hearts. They’re both such vigorous growers and so easy to care for. They both have unique characteristics that make them stand out.
