I am a single mom. My son’s father is not involved by choice. I am my son’s full time caregiver and parent. I love being a mom and I cannot imagine how a parent can essentially abandon a child. As a single parent, I wanted to celebrate mothers on Father’s Day! Let’s celebrate mothers on Father’s Day!

Father’s Day
I realize there are single dads out there. I think all mothers and fathers should be celebrated on Father’s Day!
For my situation, I choose to celebrate being a parent on both Mother’s Day and Father’s Day! I choose to cherish both days and treat my son and myself!
Single mom
As any single parent knows, we play both roles as a mother and father, especially if the other parent chooses not to be involved or doesn’t even make the effort to be involved.
Being a single mom has certainly been an experience. I’ve learned so much about myself. Looking back, it was a tough journey but I am so much happier. Both my son and I are! We have our own home and live in a very safe and quiet neighborhood.
Celebrate mothers on Father’s Day
Let’s celebrate mothers and single parents on Father’s Day!

Keychain
I love keychains. Right now, I have one keychain that represents my love for my son. I am so excited to add the Stole My Heart Keychain from Isabelle Grace to my keychain! On the front it says “This boy who stole my heart” which is so true. From the minute he was born, I loved him.

On the back of the Stole My Heart Keychain, it reads, “He calls me Mom”
I love my new keychain. It symbolizes my love and bond with my son!
It’s sad that his father chooses not to be involved, but that allows me to spend my time with my son!
Proud Single Parent
To all single parents doing it all, you are worth it. You are strong. You are a warrior. Keep focusing on the future!
